How much alcohol should I buy?
The average guest will consume one
drink every 45 minutes. If you expect
your event to last 4 and 1/2 hours,
plan on 6 drinks per guest.

Calculation Example:
50 guests for 4.5 hour event

180 servings of Wine = 3 cases
60 servings of 12oz beer = 10 six packs
60 servings of hard liquor =
approx. 4-750ml bottles
If you don't know the drinking habits of
your guests, you'll need to
overestimate equally in all calculation
categories: 25 drink wine, 25 drink
beer, 25 drink hard liquor. You may
buy more than you need, but your
guests won't be disappointed.
